Warranties – Watches

CHRISTOPHER BUTENDORFF INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY

The following limited warranty (“Warranty”) applies to original Christopher Butendorff watches purchased in original packaging and sold or presented for warranty service in any country.

This warranty is provided by CleMann, org.nr. 559485-6626 (“CleMann”, “we”, “us” or “our”), operating under the brand name Christopher Butendorff.

1. WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS AND WARRANTY PERIOD

Under this Warranty, CleMann guarantees that Christopher Butendorff watches are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of original retail purchase (the “Warranty Period”).

This Warranty only applies to watches purchased through:

  • The official Christopher Butendorff website
  • Authorized Christopher Butendorff resellers

If a valid warranty claim is approved during the Warranty Period, CleMann will provide repair or replacement of the watch or affected parts free of charge in accordance with the terms of this Warranty.

2. LIMITATIONS OF THE WARRANTY (WHAT IS NOT COVERED)

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Products that are not Christopher Butendorff watches
  • Batteries, straps, bracelets, coatings or glass/crystal
  • Routine maintenance, cleaning or normal servicing
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, negligence or improper handling
  • Cosmetic wear and tear including scratches, dents, discoloration or aging
  • Water damage caused by use exceeding the watch’s specified water resistance rating
  • Products with removed, altered or illegible serial numbers

3. WHAT WE WILL DO IN THE EVENT OF AN APPROVED WARRANTY
CLAIM

If a valid claim is submitted during the Warranty Period, CleMann may:

  • Repair the watch using new or refurbished parts
  • Replace the watch with the same model or a comparable model

If the warranty claim is approved, CleMann will cover the cost of repair or replacement and standard return shipping.

4. HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

  • Proof of purchase
  • Full name and contact information
  • Description of the issue

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleMann and the Christopher Butendorff brand shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the product or breach of this Warranty.
